Lisa grew up in the Oklahoma City Metro Area and graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Summa Cum Laude. Lisa then went on to earn her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Lisa's previous experiences show her skill level and compassion for others. While still in law school Lisa was one of three law students chosen from across the nation to earn an internship in the United States Department of Justice working in the field of Indian Law in Washington, D.C. While in Washington, D.C., Lisa had the opportunity to work with a team of Attorneys and other interns drafting a brief for the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Lisa has also worked in a legal aid setting helping clients facing economic hardships receive the legal help they deserve. Most recently, her law practice has become focused on domestic issues (such as divorce, child custody, and visitation) and the field of Indian Law. Lisa's resume also includes meeting with the Prime Minister of a European Country to discuss economic development in Oklahoma's Indian Tribes. Lisa has also earned a membership in the honorable Phi Delta Phi Legal Organization. Other notable Phi Delta Phi members included the late Chief Justice Rehnquist, and President Theodore Roosevelt.
